JJ is a dancer, social entrepreneur, director and charity trustee. Born in the US and raised in Manila, he is a scholar of the American Conservatory Theatre (San Francisco), California State University (San Jose), Central School of Ballet (London) and University of the Philippines (Diliman). He performed at the Royal Opera House (Covent Garden), with the cast of Miss Saigon (Drury Lane), and danced as a company member of Dance Theatre of Ireland. He is the founder of Dublin Youth Dance Company, the leading contemporary dance group for young, aspiring dance artists in Ireland. JJ lives with his partner in Oxford and works as an administrator for Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. He is the founder of Ajos Trust, an award-winning social enterprise championing the advancement of dance and performance in the UK and pioneering sustainable development in Ajos, a rural farming and fishing village in Mulanay, Quezon Province, Philippines.
