Assistant Treasurer

Janette was born in Manila and brought up in Batac, Ilocos Norte. She Studied in a Catholic school and an alumna of the University of the East where she finished her preparatory course in Dentistry.

She also went to West Thames College and completed her A levels in English.

She has been an active member of the Philippine Centre since 1984 and has been one of the kind-hearted persona of the “Barrio Fiesta sa London” event. Also, part of her passion is to help charity events and teaching kids of cultural dancing.

She has been a prime mover of the e-Learning Group UK (e-LG) since 2009. Elected as its President in 2012, she still holds the same until the present.

e-LG is an organisation composed of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), who had learned under and graduated from the Reintegration Programs and Trainings of the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) of the Philippine Embassy in London.

She was an Interim Assistant Treasurer when European Network of Filipino Diaspora UK (ENFiD-UK) was first organised in 2013. She was elected and holds the position of Assistant Treasurer of ENFiD-UK since 2014.
